JOB DESCRIPTION:-

creates and updates installation plans for the structural components, systems, and payloads of aircraft.

knowledge of installing and fabricating wire harnesses, installing electrical/electronic components, and designing assembly for LRU.

Knowledge with and understanding of fabrication techniques, procedures, and equipment (such as forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines and machine tools, cutting fluids, and instrumentation)

the creation or modification of fabrication plans, installation plans, and installation plan audits.

understanding of grounding, bonding, bonding materials, and surface treatments.

Experience with post-production technical projects for military and commercial aircraft sustainment, repairs, spares, and modifications is desired.

Ascertain that the current Installation plans have been audited and adhere to the established requirements.

Review the assembly process as it is currently being done, and keep pushing for improvements.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS–

0 – 3 year of experience with Aerospace industry or any fabrication plant.

1+ year of experience in a manufacturing engineering role. Experience with any of the aircraft/automotive assembly planning, Electrical and Electronics commodity is desirable.

Experience with Aerospace Manufacturing, Fabrication, Assembly Processes and Technologies.

Experience with creation of manufacturing planning and authoring assembly work instructions.
